Making A Wish Come True

Dear family and friends,

As many of you may or may not know, my daughter Jayla will be turning 16 in less than a month. We asked if she would like a traditional Sweet 16 party, or travel to any location of her choice. She chose a trip to Japan and expressed her interest in exploring Japan and immersing herself in the culture. The plan is set, and flights and accommodations have been secured.

You Can Still Participate

I created this page on my website as a way for people to still be able to celebrate with Jayla. In lieu of bringing a gift to what would be a sweet 16 party, please consider making a donation towards her experience. Together, we can make her 16th birthday one to remember. We will be flying out on July 2023 since June is a rainy season in Japan. A portion of the collected donations will be given to her for the trip as spending money. The other part will be deposited into her savings account.

As a thank you for your generosity, I will create a special photo album of her trip to Japan to share with all participants. In addition, anyone who donates over $100 will receive a special Japanese souvenir as a token of our appreciation.
